Hey, I'm Pete! I work as a sysadmin at the D. E. Shaw group.

I'm passionate about declarative systems, containerisation, and observability.

I studied Computer Science at the University of Bath, graduating with a first.
My dissertation was on the design and implementation of a bespoke Linux container scheduling system for the departmental GPU cloud.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing casual sports, juggling, and learning Lithuanian.
